Holidays in Thailand
Thailand is a wonderful country, with a great deal of diversity. Bangkok is a bustling metropolis that operates 24/7. Chiang Mai, Thailand's second city is a completely different type of place with its own unique and special character. Head south of Bangkok then you hit places like Hua Hin, which are peaceful and relaxing spots with great beaches that are not overcrowded except on Bangkok holiday weekends. Further South you have Phuket and Krabi and the wondeful Phi Phi Island, all of which have beaches and water exactly as you'd imagine a tropical oasis to have.
Across the Bay of Thailand you pass the world renowned Samui and eventually hit have Koh Chang, the second largest island in Thailand and a place of extreme beauty. There is also Koh Somed, which is very popular with Bangkokians, especially the younger ones. And, of course there is the city of Pattaya, which is popular with Thais and expatriates alike.
There are many others provinces that offer the adventurous tourist so much, including Isaan, Kanchanaburi and Korat.
